The Adventure Continues—Until November 23!

Yes, that's right—it has been ALMOST two years since Elder Dallin Wilcox arrived on New Caledonia! August will mark his 22nd month on the island, and he will come skidding back into Denver on November 23nd, just in time for Thanksgiving, and then head on to BYU in January. We can't wait, but he is still focused full-time on the mission--though he is excited to see his friends (and, we like to think, his family) when he gets back!

Until then, however, Dallin is continuing his wild adventures and good service. He is now responsible for overseeing all the missionaries on the island, and living in Noumea (the capital). He has been making some great friends (several of his companions have been from Tahiti, and one from the nearby island of Vanuatu), managing all the unforseen circumstances that can arise for a young missionary (including directing traffic with tree branches, a trick he picked up in Ghana), and having an amazing (if exhausting) time.

Dallin would also LOVE to hear from his friends--you can email him now at dallin.wilcox@myldsmail.net, and he'll send a snail-mail letter back to you (the only kind he's allowed). If you want to send a snail-mail letter yourself, the address is:

Elder Dallin Wilcox
Bureau de la Mission
BP 15154

98804 Noumea Cedex
New Caledonia

In the meantime, his siblings will be managing his blog and Facebook account.

Enjoy the pictures, and if you have the chance to send a note along to Dallin, that would be awesome!

Pres Wilcox was a loser, most of his missionaries who he continually remains out of contact with think, and sour W was a fool. Too bad we couldn't all be foreign, fat, old, etc. He was notorious for the favorite game. What a jerk. Hope yours is better than his. He doesn't have ANY post mish friends.
